I struggled with the March assignment, I was well and truly stumped for what to do. On the other hand, this month was so full of fun options, I didn’t know where to begin! The idea was to take my word on an adventure in order to build a deeper relationship with it. As a creative person, too many options can be a terrible thing often rendering me paralyzed and in the procrastination cycle of doing nothing. That was not the case this month. I actually had a few adventures with my word, but the one I choose to focus on documenting was how to get myself MORE out of my comfort zone.
For those playing along with me here on my site, in March I went away for the month and brought that spirit of adventure, of curiosity, of facing my fears, home with me.
One of the digital files we were given had a few key words on it, a guide for the month: REMEMBER: Have Fun, Get Curious, Adventure, Document. I can honestly say that is how I feel about the year ahead and hope to approach every day going forward.
