HELLO MONDAY | 22.02.21
HELLO SELF-CARE | It’s not that my health is on the back-burner it’s just not been a priority as I’ve been spending my time as emotional support, first for Bill and now, Caden. Through most of last year and this, I’ve maintained appointments and taken medications, I just haven’t scheduled procedures. This week I have a biopsy to attend and receive the results of a recent sleep study. Onward!
HELLO STORAGE | Now that everything is tagged, it’s time to get all of the furniture moved into storage for the next couple/few months, at least until the renovations are completed and it’s time to move north.
HELLO CLEANING CREW | Based on past experience, I’m obsessed with making sure I leave any house I sell spotless for the new owners. I’ve been too often the recipient of gross disasters. I have the cleaners scheduled for two visits – and it’ll be my final job during walk-through (and teary goodbye) to make sure there is toilet paper in every bathroom and working lights in every socket when we close.
HELLO SOUNDTRACK | I’ve misplaced 2 CD copies of my most favourite. By chance, I took a look and found it on Spotify! Not only did I love the book – the Prince of Tides soundtrack is glorious (I never saw the movie). I remember feeling at the time (1991) that if my feelings for Bill were ever to be put to music, this is what I would hear. (Now to read the other Conroy books I just put on my Kindle!)
HELLO END OF THE MONTH | Wow, I know it was a short month, but where in the world did February go?
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
