HELLO MONDAY | 01.03.21
HELLO CLOSING | Almost 25 years of my life was spent in a city that calls itself a town, not the first bending of the truth for appearances to be found there. As of today that chapter is officially closed.
HELLO ANNE LAMOTT | This woman is one of my most favourite wordsmiths. I revel in her brilliance in her books as well as her Twitter feed. She will be giving a talk at Book Passage on the weekend, about her newest release – with Glennon Doyle. (Glennon freaking Doyle!) I’m beside myself with joyful anticipation! Do you think brilliance is contagious? I hope so!
HELLO CHECK-INS | Another month starting on a Monday? Yay! That means I have a lot of places to visit: Oracle Circle Membership; Just Write prompt; One Little Word; Heart-Centred; and, The Unraveled Heart.
HELLO WRITING | Now that I have no reason to spent my time going to and from Oakville (70-minutes round-trip) daily, I have more uninterrupted time on my hands to focus on things I want to get done every day. The most important being my writing practice: not my journaling, morning pages or blogging, but crafting the novel. As a kick-start, I’ve joined a program online run by Anne Helmstadter, a professional screenwriter. It’s precisely what I need and what is missing from other courses.
HELLO VIRTUAL WEEKEND | My Mastermind group is winding down with a big weekend celebration. I’ll be sad for it to end, but am so grateful for the experience. I started with this collection of participants just after Bill died and it was a wonderful and supportive group of empaths to be involved in to navigate that tough transition. I’ve learned so much, now it’s time to put it to practice.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
