HELLO DAY IN THE LIFE | I like the idea of inviting comforting projects back into my life – those creative activities I’ve missed while other things came up. This time around things will be the same but different for this project: I won’t have to take a bagillion photos! Just a quick peek into what’s happening in my day.

HELLO I READ CANADIAN | This is a thing and I’m excited to participate since one day (soon) I’ll be a Canadian writer – it only makes sense that I read the work of some of my future peers. I’ll be reading Messenger 93 written by one of my brilliant UofT profs!

HELLO DOG CARE | I don’t need a haircut for myself, I need one for my dogs. It’s not like they have hair like a human – essential services really need to include dog groomers! That said, restrictions have eased and I’m relieved to be able to take them in before their training with the new invisible fence – they’ll have a chance to focus on their training rather than the pain of the knots in their hair.

HELLO REFORMER PILATES MACHINE | One more reason (like I need one) to get myself up to the house in Southampton! My reformer pilates machine arrives this week. I’m excited to use it.

HELLO TAGGING | One more step toward the almost-final final move. All of the household belongings will be tagged for storage (for however long that will be). Fingers crossed we’re up north in time for summer!

HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
