IF YOU COULD TIME-TRAVEL BACK TO AN EARLIER TIME IN YOUR LIFE, WHERE WOULD YOU VISIT AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I'm not a big fan of "what if" questions. They don't really serve a purpose except to make you regret the things you cannot change.

I know that the situations and experiences have made me who I am today. I like who I am. I've worked hard to be who I am.

My cop-out answer (since everyone knows the story) would be to go back to 1982 with the knowledge that Bill is not and never was my cousin no matter how many aunts claim it to be true. DNA results rule in this case. Late into many nights, we had many "what if" conversations, they were heartbreaking with both of us shedding too many tears over what we could not change. Not only did we miss out on a life together, but we would have avoided a number of situations that simply would not have happened. That said before anyone freaks out, he loved his children and I love my children, and we would not have traded them for anything. My philosophy is that a soul comes into the world for a purpose - each of those eight souls would have been with us, both Bill and I, in one way or another whether we were together or not.
