HOW DO DREAMS PROVIDE VALUABLE INFORMATION THAT CAN HELP YOU WHEN YOU'RE AWAKE?
Rarely did I remember my dreams. They’d disappear like puffs of smoke the second I opened my eyes. Even when I’d snuggle back into the pillows and burrow into the covers they were lost.
Occasionally I will get a whisp of a memory of a dream in the middle of the day. More a feeling than anything visual. I have more of a sense of knowing than a movie being played out before me.
Recently I purchased a crystal dream manifesting set which includes:
2 crystal quartz generators (weighing ~ 1kg)
1 Amethyst "Dark Crystal" Shard (weighing ~ 0.6kg)
2 Angel Aura freeform clusters
1 Crystal Quartz Scrying Sphere (weighing ~ 1kg)
I’ve placed the collection on my nightstand, a dresser next to my bed. It’s been there for about a month. It could be a complete coincidence, but I’m having what I know are pretty involved and often wild dreams throughout the night. They still disappear like puffs of smoke when I wake, but I have a better sense that something has happened. I am taking the time to ease into my day in an effort for the theme of the dreams to return. Maybe I need to move my meditation practice closer to the time of waking rather than mid- to late-morning?
Do they provide insight? Well, according to Carl Jung, they are key to our understanding of ourselves. Who am I to contradict?
I simply have to remember them so that I can mine them for any information they contain. Small, incremental, consistent steps … there’s a theme to my life these days.
