WHAT KIND OF MENTOR DO YOU NEED TO HELP YOU LEVEL UP YOUR LIFE?

I am so fortunate to be surrounded by so many talented people who are incredibly good at what they do. At this stage of my life, I don’t need a “mentor” per se, but I do have a great team that keeps me on track! In order of who I see through the week/month:

Laura - Energy Healer - shows up one Monday each month to keep me in contact with my highest self.

Sherrylee - plucks and cuts and files and applies all kinds of goop and wax and other lovely things one Monday each month for my maintenance.

Natasha - Therapist - who every Tuesday does her level best to keep me on task and doesn’t let me get into “story” mode. The purpose is for me to deal with and absorb trauma to take the weight off. It’s still early days.

Jackie - Trainer - beams via Zoom into my Tuesday and Thursday to put me through a 30-45 minute session on my Reformer Pilates machine where we’re doing all we can to improve my flexibility.

Rebecca - Pelvic Therapist - which I never knew was a thing but WOW, my hips feel much better. And, I’m almost sad that I’m no longer having sex since my upper Kegels are becoming insanely fit and strong!

Zachary - RMT - who every Wednesday deals with my shoulders to prevent the return of Frozen Shoulder and is helping me get some range of motion in my stuck hips.

Matt - Chiropractor - who takes over from Zachary on Wednesdays with more hip manipulation as well as electrified needles in my lower back.

Addison - Cleaner - comes over on Thursday afternoons and puts my home back in order. I used to be an enthusiastic house cleaner, then I became a rage cleaner, and now I’m so happy I can’t clean so I have someone who enjoys it as much as I used to!

Jody - Stylist - helps me maintain my very short pixie cut once a month. A 3 on the sides and 3 1/2 inches on top. The grey is turning more white and I love it!

Jenn - Life Coach - along with Jackie, has been my most consistent team member and I love her to bits. She has known me a long time and is a wonderful, empathetic and kind cheerleader. I’m so fortunate to have her in my corner.

What could possibly be left? You would think with all of that capable help, I’d have run out of ways to level up!

The only thing left will be a writing coach, and I know exactly who it’ll be. Now I simply have to churn out a few outlines and ideas - and maybe a shitty first draft or two. It’s beyond time to make it a priority - and not allow the stress of not having it done to be yet another form of procrastination.
