REAL RIGHT NOW | Birthday Songlist
What was the number 1 song on your birthday through the years?
A friend posted a link months ago and it was fun to see what was number 1 on the charts, in Canada, during my birthday through the years. (I didn't complicate things and switch to the US for the years I was there for my birthday, but that might be a fun addition to the playlist.)
I made up a playlist on Spotify. 57 Songs - 3 hours and 47 minutes. So fun!

I have to admit, by the time 2015 rolled around the "top song" of the year was nothing I'd ever heard before! Maybe chalk it up to old age? Not bad though, keeping up for the better part of 50 years.
Of special note, according to the website, the song that was number 1 on your 18th birthday is often referred to as your life's theme song. Hmm.
Lyrics to Eye of the Tiger:
Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger
Rising up straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not going to stop
Just a man and his will to survive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
