WHAT DID YOU DAYDREAM ABOUT AS A KID THAT YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE A REALITY?

Like all kids, my dreams were endless: dragon slayer, photographer, tennis player, fashion designer, rock star, teacher, photo-journalist, lawyer, best-selling author, interior designer, realtor, magazine editor, and on, and on ... there were no limits to the dreams I had.

I take bits and pieces of most of those dreams into my life now, certainly parenting covers many of them - especially dragon slayer.

I'd like to get back into playing tennis and golf. I sing in the car as though I were a rock star. I still dress up my kids when I see things I think they'd like. Blogging is much like being a photo-journalist or magazine editor with neither pressure or fame. Instagram keeps me taking photos. Renovating a home appeals to my inner interior designer. Buying and selling houses lets me play realtor without the headaches.

Best-selling author? That is the one I'm working on. I don't even need the best-selling part - just the published part that would make me the "official" author I'd like to be.
