WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LIFE THAT FEW OTHERS HAVE FIGURED OUT YET?
It’s hard for me to presume what others have or have not yet figured out.
I do know, and live, a few truths:
Love is the greatest power in the universe.
Don’t love until you can do it unconditionally, with your whole heart and soul.
Release the armour and show up every day. Vulnerability is strength and courage.
Secrets are just lies, withholding the truth. When they come out (they always do) they will hurt only the one the secret was crafted to “protect”. Tell the truth.
Don’t trust anyone who tells you to keep a secret from another person. It’s a big red flag.
“This” and “that” can be true at the same time.
Don’t go back to a relationship that was broken.
What is meant to be yours will not pass you by; what you are looking for in this life is also looking for you.
The only thing you can depend on is change, aka you never step in the same river twice.
We are what we do consistently. And, the only way to win (for lack of a better term) at anything is to do whatever it is consistently.
Be curious, don’t be afraid to fail. Failure holds the lesson.
If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time, you’ll know my philosophy on life. None of the above will come as a surprise. I could likely write a hundred more observations - but these are the keys to my life. Have others figured it out? I can pretty much guarantee it.
