Back in January I had my soul map read by the brilliant Lissa Boles which was informative and sometimes a bit spooky (in an accurate not-too-scary way). Right before we signed off she mentioned I might want to do a podcast. Of course, I have no idea what I would talk about in a podcast – and plus, that’s so OUT THERE.
Fast forward to early April and I’ve been invited to be a guest on a podcast in May. The invitation was this: “I was wondering if you would be interested in coming on the podcast to talk about how your personal development journey and practices (including blogging) have informed and intersect with your memory keeping.” Now THAT is something I can talk about.
My response? “Hello! Thanks for thinking of me – and reading my blog! Your invitation sounds absolutely terrifying – so, of course I’ll participate. I have never done a podcast before and don’t often listen to them (it’s more a technology thing than lack of interest). Tell me what I need to do – and the timing.”
And there you have it, completely outside my comfort zone. Over the past few months there have been a few opportunities to say “yes” to things that I would not normally agree to do. It’s time for me to show up for my life, I can’t just encourage everyone else to do and not do it myself. Right?
