ICEBREAKER: IN AN IDEAL WORLD, WHAT WOULD THE NEXT YEAR OF YOUR LIFE LOOK LIKE?
I hope to roll with the Covid-19 aftermath and embrace whatever our collective new normal becomes.
I’m looking forward to the upcoming innovations and changes. Ideally, our sports and entertainment company will have an opportunity to grow and flourish in the new normal while it forces us to be creative and innovative in our own way. I’ll get my book written and published and it will be met with great critical and popular acclaim (might as well put that out there, right?). My partner will continue to enjoy his hard-earned good health and I will, too. All of the household projects will be completed and we will finally have an opportunity to simply enjoy it. My mastermind will start up again and I’ll have another opportunity to grow more. All eight of our collective brood will find their way in the world and follow their dreams and desires. We will find an easy groove with friends and family coming and going, evenings spent at the Oakville Club, trips in the truck to the Maritimes, walking the dogs every day, making more playlists and sharing favourites, try new foods and recipes, not a lot of travel but I’d like to go back to Turks & Caicos, and maybe Bermuda and Arizona – a river cruise down the Rhine or Danube, Iceland and Greenland. Okay, so maybe more travel.
I will continue to count my blessings and be grateful for every minute of my life as it is now and how it is evolving.
GOING DEEPER: HOW AFRAID OF DYING ARE YOU?
I am not afraid of dying. I live every day to its fullest and surround myself with people who I love and who love me. I have everything I could possibly want in my life. I can die at peace knowing I had all I could have.
