The only thing constant is change, and March gave me a glimpse of the changes I want to make in my life. It also set up how I want feel through and as a result of those choices. This month started out with the intention of being the (I thought do-able) month of the Finished Project and ended as the month that tested my patience. A reminder that sometimes life gets in the way of our plans.
New habit: writing five things for which I am grateful before I go to sleep each night. The practice keeps me more aware of my blessings than my challenges. | The month started with me being on a strict diet (Candida cleanse) and it was brutal. Not the cleanse, just the regular reminder of “no”. It brought out my inner rebel! | Hiker’s Haven is fabulous and Chloé was all set (and more) for her 2 1/2 weeks in Honduras. | Weather still topped the news. I’d say March came in like a lion this year. | Canvas art is slowly populating my walls. So good to have this project started! | Happy calls are the best calls. | Eggs! | Sometimes hard work is recognized and rewarded; sometimes not. So glad for the recognition! #coloursforcole | Mumford & Sons broke the happy news that “Wilder Mind” is being released on May 4th. | Drinking water, 3L daily, is exhausting. | “The Voice” makes me happy. | Tax prep begins. | Passed my physical – I think. Now to wait for the test results. | Made a list of all the things I could not eat through the cleanse, and then decided the foods I just would continue to not eat when off it. | Connections lost were found again. | Laundry. | Filled eighteen days of March break with a lot of housework. I’m glad my boys were more cooperative than not. | Awen & Aquarius have found a home on Cole’s arms. | Dropped off Chloé at Departures. Her departure party was me, Cole and a Kangaroo. I love that Caden is such a free spirit. | Grateful for friends who call out of the blue – with invitations to Jamaica, no less! | Manifesting a companion. This should be interesting. | Acceptance to UofT was met with much hollering, yelling, jumping up and down and general glee. Cole could not push that offer button fast enough. | Grampy invited me and the boys to dinner. We did what we could with the chi chi menu – and then ate when we got home! Cole enjoyed my portion of the wine. | Back to Kundalini only to have it cancelled due to flooding at iGita. #messagesfromtheuniverse | Daylight Savings Time – really, what is the modern day purpose? | Enjoying the results of much tidying up. | Replaced my MacBook with a new one and gave the old one to Caden. | Big bedroom switch with Cole giving up his big room for Chloé. Time to paint – again! | Jump Volleyball is such a good program! | Raptors games enjoyed – who knew? | Dinner in Toronto with my sister stinks when I can’t eat or drink anything fun. I demand a do-over! | St. Paddy’s celebrated in Kingston. I know only because of SnapChat. | Constant Contact has been figured out, as has Facebook ads. Of course, I pushed the wrong button on my website (with Kenda away!) but decided to not let it stop me. | Miramichi summer adventures are all booked and ready. I’ll be taking Cole and Chloé. I’m looking forward to it! | Bankers. | Solar eclipse on the equinox and a New Moon is certainly a powerful catalyst for change to come. | Creative Writing class is back on hold. Just when I thought Wednesday evenings were free, I received Caden’s LAX schedule for the spring. I’m starting to believe it’s a “keep Lee from writing” conspiracy! | For the first time in a long time I was the subject of a photo shoot. Luckily 10+ years of modelling in my past came back and I was finished quickly. I’m looking forward to the results. | Gliding Solutions were a great addition to my old kitchen, so they came in to measure this one. Ah, order, how I love to have everything in it’s place – it all starts with having a place for everything! | What beats picking up a girl from the airport by brothers? Not much! | With my 50th year came the time for my first colonoscopy. Grateful for girlfriends willing to drive. | My pendulum is getting quite a workout! | The incredible shrinking Chloé! She seems to have left all her baby chunk in Honduras. | Die, iPhoto. Die. For over a week the new computer was in for service and it all comes down to the limitations of iPhoto. | Poster printer found just around the corner! Oakville Blueprinting did a beautiful job. | Setting mama boundaries is key, that and consistency. What they see is what they get! #areyounewhere? | Last minute lunch invitations are lovely. | Got the quote to have the house wired. Gulp! But it’s going to be worth it when it’s done! | My first non-beta Desire Map Workshop was fabulous! Such wonderful women. I’m already looking forward to and making plans and changes to my next session in June. | Trip to Thailand, anyone? | LAX assessment complete. Starting back at a sport in the last year it’s offered? Only my kid. | Girls Night Out is always better when it benefits a good cause. I even got 18 tickets in a box for a Blue Jays game! | Peel Music Festival rehearsals. A challenge when no lesson has been had in over 6 weeks! | Window Cleaners have washed away winter. I know spring is slowly on it’s way but I just couldn’t wait any longer. I want those brief moments of sunshine to stream through with nothing blocking the way. | U1 Mums Lunch has been booked at Alice Fazooli’s and invitation will be mailed when I get my computer! | March went out like a lamb. A cold and wet lamb. | MARCH 2015
