Ever since I put the SONOS system in my house, I am listening to far more music than I ever did before. Music was missing for a long time and now that it’s back I realize it is a key piece to my peace. Now, when I’m in my office, I will get texts from my kids asking me to please turn my music down. Ha! Of course I do, but it gives me a giggle that they are annoyed at the volume more than the music itself.

What do I love? Natalie Merchant and Dido are back and making new sounds with their familiar voices. P!nk and Dallas Green (City and Colour) together are sublime. Elle King is spectacular and I only just found out that she is the daughter of Rob Schneider (which is neither here nor there, just interesting). And so many Canadians* showed up on my list. Fascinating.
So much talent! Up beat melodies and thoughtful lyrics.
