It’s true. Within reason* I’ll try anything once. If I like it I’ll do it again, and if I don’t I’ll take the lesson and move on.
Over the past few years I’ve been embracing the woo, beliefs left behind are being welcomed back into my daily experience. Life is now an interesting balance of metaphysics, spiritual enlightenment, yoga and meditation, witchcraft, religious practice, intuition, creativity and energy. All of it is fascinating and really challenging my Core Desired Feelings, specifically: TRUST. Though, CONNECT, EXPANSIVE, ALLOW and GRACE get a run, too.
In this particular case, I had a visit from Five Archangels. Yes. Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Uriel and Metatron in all their ethereal glory came to hang out in my home for five days. Now. Me and angels? I get a bit squirmy. No doubt a result of my fear-laden bible-thumping Protestant-based early years. Though, I am trying to stay open to as much as possible.
My friend had a wonderful experience and encouraged by her review, I signed on. I have to say, I too had a wonderful experience. My children indulged me in all of it. I received an email outlining all of the things we had to do to prepare for the visit:
- White Flower (in my case, a pot of daisies)
- White Candle (flameless as it is to be lit the whole 5 days!)
- Apple
- Sealed letter outlining wishes for Mother Earth, Family and Self
Both Chloé and Caden participated with their letters, greeting and goodbye. Their beginner minds and lack of skepticism made for an open and trusting experience – such a joy to me.
Though things were chaotic in the house with boxes in various stages of unpacking, projects everywhere, beach packing, Temagami laundry and homework, I enjoyed that there was still plenty of space for the vibration and energy of the angels to be able to re-align many things.
It all starts with awareness. This is part of my journey to knowledge, engagement, compassion and acceptance. I have no room in my life for skepticism or judgment.
They have now been sent off to other homes for another five days of putting things to right. I’ve been asked if I notice a difference in my home. You know what? I do.
What about you? Do you embrace or reject the woo? Or are you somewhere in between?
* the definition of reason has changed with age and responsibility
You already know that I embrace the woo. 🙂 Love this idea of inviting angels in. Archangel Raphael is often by my side.
It really was a lovely experience! We’d do it again, for sure 🙂
I love this! Where did you get the info for inviting the angels? I would love to do this too! Embracing the woo!
I had it sent to me from my friend (and Life Coach), Helen Garside. I’ll be sure to send along to you if the opportunity returns to me!
