Normally I would be showing my completed assignment for my One Little Word® for this month, but that’s impossible! It is not yet complete as it requires all 29 days of this month. I think I will have to adjust my “share” schedule going forward. In the meantime, I’m sharing those things I have recently acquired in order to remind me of LIGHT as I go through my days. Each year it is my habit to purchase some fun things – a charm, a print, a physical replica of the word chosen – to keep my guiding word front and centre every day. This year is no different:
I really enjoy Kal Barteski’s art. I came across a print in her store and ordered it on canvas for my office:
A cut-out from Colleen Attarra Studio, I’m hoping to use in one of my projects this year. Colleen included all kinds of goodies in the package, a joy to open:
Above, in the featured image, you’ll see a collection of pocket talismans to represent my words over the years. I received them from the ever talented Liz Lamoreaux. My words are on the front side and the years they represent are stamped on the back:
Etsy really is my happy place. Now that I am SURROUNDED by my word – my office, my person, my plans, my practice – my hopes for it seem just that little bit more possible.
Here’s to a wonderful year of LIGHT.
How do you keep your guiding word visible?
