Over the break I came across a free template over at Scrapbook & Cards. This template (and so much more goodness) was provided by the Clean & Simple memory keeping rock star, Cathy Zielske. I took the template, added some spring-like papers, made a reluctant Caden take a photo of me and added
a bit a lot of RadLab action to it, took my “I AM” statements from my about.me bio and voila: a finished page!
Honestly? It took more time to pick out the “papers” than it did to put the whole thing together. The bane of a memory keeper’s existence: supplies. Whether digital or physical, there is just too much stuff to be creative!
I’ve been too long away from regular memory keeping. I was asked recently if I still was “into that scrapbooking thing” and I immediately responded “yes, of course” and then realized I am in my heart but I haven’t done much lately. THAT is going to change!
How? Well, the lovely Cathy Zielske, mentioned above, has started a new classroom on her website and instead of just taking notes like I’ve done before, I’m going to complete her Me: The Abridged Version album project. I completed one way back in 2010 and things have certainly changed since then! I did attempt this project a few months back but life got in the way – because I let it. This is important to me and will get done this time.
What have you finished lately?
