I completed December in record time only to realize I hadn’t completed pages for March or October or November! Luckily I unexpectedly came into a weekend of free time (thanks to a flat tire on the I-90 outside Syracuse) and decided to focus on getting my 2018 book done. Because I included travel, birthday, celebration and gratitude pages it turned into a mammoth 130+ page book. Adoramapix makes books to a maximum of 100 pages – so 2018 will be two volumes. I figure since none of the kids live at home anymore, they can tell their own stories and from now on I’ll only tell mine. I anticipate 2019 will be a much slimmer volume!
Many thanks to Cathy Zielske without whom none of my life would be recorded. Her Scrapbook Your Year process is brilliant! From how to organize your photos to how to make the whole process manageable, I highly recommend checking out her self paced course. All of the templates used in my book are her creation – as is most of the decorative patterned “paper”.
Other paper used throughout the books were created by Maplebrook Studios.
And that’s a wrap! How do you record your stories?
