To what are you saying hello on this brand new Monday?
HELLO QUIET WEEK | Or as quiet as it gets with six adults and two dogs in one house. Lots of books are being read, movies watched, writing attempted, courses started, golf played, music discovered, naps taken, recipes tried, board games played, tequila consumed, photos taken, dogs walked, meditation enjoyed, plans made, hugs given and received, plenty of quiet pursuits will fill our time now that school has officially ended and summer is underway.
HELLO RECONSIDERED PLANS | As much as we’d like to enjoy our initial plans to be in Cape Cod or New Brunswick visiting with family and friends over the summer, we’ve decided to stay close to home. The risk/reward simply doesn’t work in our favour so, for now, we’ve come to realize there is no rush and fingers are crossed that next summer will be a different story altogether.
HELLO NEW MONTH AHEAD | BLINK! Time has become so elastic, I barely know what day it is let alone what month. I no longer presume to know what direction the month will take or how things will be different from the beginning to the end. I’m just hoping we start July with Canada Day fireworks! #gowiththeflow
HELLO LOCKDOWN END | The provincial state of emergency is expected to end this week (though the federal travel ban (to the US) continues through July 21, unless extended again) and it has me seriously looking at how to handle life going forward while preparing for the inevitable next wave. Our collectively being told what to do has not triggered my natural tendency to rebel, indeed, I am being very cautious as we are in a high-risk category (or two). I’m releasing my need to control and going with what the experts and science advise with as much ease and flow as I’m able to muster.
HELLO FULL BUCK MOON | A full moon ritual is a time to reflect and celebrate, it represents fruitfulness and completeness and brings with it a lot of energy. It’s time for me to take a deep breath and exhale all excess energy and anything in my life that doesn’t serve me or my highest good. My favourite ritual is taking a “moon bath” (which I’ve missed the last few cycles due to poor weather) and sink into my intuition for a quiet half-hour. I’ve been knocked off my moon practice in the last few months and I want to get back to it and a few other things that have gotten lost lately. The big question this full moon: what do I need to shed? #alifeofintention
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
