HELLO TEARS | Each time I collect my kids from OELC there are many tears. Happy tears. Of love. Of validation. Of friendships made. Today was no different collecting Chloé and her friend. I was up at 5AM to be ready for the 9AM pick up.
HELLO PEARSON | Without much turn-around Chloé was packed (4 kilograms over) and ready to head to France for a month to get her Grade 12 French credit. Caden did, as always, send her on her way in his orange Kangaroo suit. It did, as always, receive mixed reviews 🙂
HELLO TRAFFIC | The PanAm games have arrived! Time to hibernate here in the burbs!
HELLO WIMBLEDON | Probably my favourite of all the tennis tournaments. I look forward to all the play – mens, womens, doubles – from The Round of Sixteen to Finals Sunday.
HELLO NEIGHBOUR | Nice to meet you too, a year after moving in. Yes, I’ll look into having the automatic sprinkler system come on later so as not to wake you. Yes, I’ll look into the noisy air conditioning unit, so as not to wake you. Sorry that unlike the previous owner I don’t just leave our windows open, allergies. But no, my boys do not go out and play basketball at 6:30 in the morning. They’re teenage boys, 6:30? I think you pushed just a little too far.
HELLO COURSES | I already feel like I’m behind.
HELLO BLOODWORK | Time to feel like a pincushion, again. I wonder if the results have improved?
HELLO CANADA DAY | An impromptu BBQ has been planned with friends and family. It will be so much fun and we’re looking forward to it!
HELLO FREDDY BEACH | Tickets are booked. Car rented. Hotel rooms reserved. I am having a blast exposing my kids to my extended family. This occasion will be no exception!
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite day of the week. I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
What are you saying hello to on this brand new Monday?
