HELLO NOTICING | After a highly intense weekend of personal discovery and a deep-dive into trust and universal coherence, I need a break. It’s time to get out and about this week – for my own sanity. I’m participating in the Ali Edwards-led Art of Noticing which gives me the perfect excuse to dust off my big camera – or even try out my new Moment lenses on my iPhone. What am I noticing? What are you noticing? Comfort? Delight? Rest? Nourishment? Play? #aeartofnoticing
HELLO WRITING | I’m jotting down ideas for essays, short stories and novels in my most favourite gridded notebook. This process of slowing down has done wonders for my – squirrel – need for distraction.
HELLO FULL MOON | Not just any full moon but a BLUE moon, on Samhain (Hallowe’en). What needs illumination? What needs release?
HELLO SAMHAIN WEEK | The veil is thinnest between worlds during the Samhain sabbat. Though he is “gone,” I’m guided by my sweet Bill daily. I hear him whisper to me and literally follow rainbows that lead toward my future. I open books and find notes he’s left – not for me, but beautiful observations. He holds me at night as I fall asleep and he breathes into the back of my neck as I wake every morning. I miss him but more than anything I am grateful for him being in my life for as long and short as I had him.
HELLO BIGGEST PET PEEVE | Daylight savings time is coming to an end. But why? The whole gain an hour/lose an hour practice drives me completely bonkers. This is my annual complaint. #rantover
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
