HELLO YULE | The Winter Solstice has arrived – the longest night of the year is giving way to welcome back the light. And there’s a bonus, the Great Conjunction where Jupiter meets Saturn in the night sky for the first time in 800+ years and should show up like the “Christmas Star” and I’m looking forward to it. Hopefully, the night sky is going to be clear enough for us to witness it!
HELLO FAMILY PARTY | What are the chances we’ll all figure out how to be on Zoom at one time? With six households participating (22 people) it should be manageable, and we’re sending tech support to my dad’s place so he and his wife don’t miss anything. Our carol singing can be cringe-worthy on the best of years, this is going to be epic!
HELLO DOCTOR | A follow-up to my gall bladder attack of last month. Fingers crossed the flush worked well enough that surgery will not be required. I’ve had no pain since, so I can only hope with regular doses of apple juice, epsom salts, olive oil and lemon, I can avoid anything invasive.
HELLO BIG FOOD SHOP | The holidays themselves require a bigger shop than normal only because the food and meals are more elaborate, but combine that with a few days of closures, I want to avoid the crazy, two weeks in a row! (Who planned this?) At the same time, with the upcoming move, I don’t want to overfill the pantry/freezer. Time for some strategic planning. And I hope I get a bread pot so at least we can make sandwiches!
HELLO LADIES | I’m looking forward to Zooming with my manifesting wonder women. 2020 was a trial and the first part of the new year won’t have us completely out of the woods, let’s see what we can manage!
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
