HELLO PLANS | Now that my calendar is physically set up for the year ahead it’s time to map out plans: travel, entertainment, things I want to do, obligations, courses to take, all of it. Time to put it all into practical terms – that means putting dates to my ideas. This year? Next year? Impractical? Doable? Time to take the lessons in pace and timing learned this summer and apply it to my life going forward.
HELLO MONDO BEYONDO | Fifteen years ago, as I was suffering in the nadir of my existence, I took a course that inspired hope. A course that let me know that dreams were allowed, encouraged even. Now that I’m at a place where I believe dreams really can come true, I’m taking the new and improved version of the same course. I’m looking forward to what I can learn coming from a good place.
HELLO COACHING SESSION | After our last session my “assignment” was to tackle each room in my home and remove all of the clutter. I have to admit I’ve made great strides dealing with one room each week, but my office and basement studio continue to offer challenges! I wonder what I’ll learn this session?
HELLO EMPTY ROOMS | When Claire left for Halifax she took her bed and another, along with a couch and a couple of chairs (she hates them but who didn’t hate some of their first furniture?) It’s time to go through all of the rooms and figure out what needs to stay, what needs to go and fill in the gaps.
HELLO WORD ON THE STREET | I have never attended but have heard so many good things about this festival over the years. I’m putting on my invisibility cloak to dive into this popular and crowded event.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
