HELLO TORONTO | With the dogs its always an ordeal to get to Toronto for an event and back in time to let them out. (Oh, how I wish they could be potty trained!) Luckily, today I wake up in Toronto with the dogs after seeing Sting in The Last Ship (fabulous – long) and dinner with family.
HELLO SPECIALIST | I have been taking Tucker to the vet daily, yes daily, since late-October. His ears are such a mess. Last week his slides came back clean! No more rods. We still have an appointment with the doggie dermatologist in Guelph so better to just go and see what they suggest for further treatment.
HELLO LONG PIECE | I’m plugging right along with scenes in my novel. Now to have it torn apart at my guided critique group. I hope it’s more constructive than critical this time around!
HELLO YMCA | I like the water and have decided to join the AquaFit class at the local YMCA. Now that we’ve (hopefully) seen the last of the frigid temperatures, it’ll be more bearable. My personal trainer comes three times a week and I figure I can fill in the off-days with time in the pool.
HELLO CONSTRUCTION | The time has finally come, Lakeshore Road running through downtown is going to be under construction for the next few months (er, years!). From now to November 2019 and then the other side from spring through the start of the holidays 2020. Already my favourite shop has closed. True I’m not much of a shopper, but when I do, I go big! My plan is to take a monthly trip downtown to support the businesses I like, especially my wonderful florist, Fiori. I look forward to discovering and supporting more small local businesses.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite day of the week. I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
