HELLO GALL BLADDER | It reminded me all day yesterday that it’s full. I haven’t had an attack since February but this was the first one that has ever landed me in the hospital due to pain. I’m so grateful to my kids who rallied together – Claire and Caden came home to take care of the dogs while Cole was stuck with me in the emergency room. My neverending list has a new entry: find time for surgery. Oy.
HELLO ESCAPE TV | It looks like this week will bring back a number of television shows I enjoy. I have to admit I haven’t watched a lot of television, Netflix or otherwise in the last few months. It might be a nice distraction to curl up on the couch with something hot in hand to escape into the fictional lives of television characters. Focus on their issues for a while!
HELLO OTHER SIDE | Over the years I’ve become increasingly aware that there is more here than meets the eye – some things that are utterly unexplainable. Though I have pretty good intuitive skills that are well-honed, I know when I need a guide, an expert. To that end, I have a session this week and hope to get some answers to a few niggling questions.
HELLO PACKING | I took off the last week or so to rest and regenerate after weeks of packing and keeping the house (unrealistically) spotless. Now is the time to get everything outside (and in the garage) ready for the first phase of the move in January. And anything not coming with us will have to be sold – sooner rather than later! Let’s do this thing.
HELLO PACKAGES | I spent my “quiet time” sorting through all of Bill’s things: mostly books, clothes and ball caps, for his family. Now to mail them all out! I’ve decided to keep his journals in order to transcribe them and put them into some kind of publishable form. His writing is breathtaking, such exquisite poetry. Bill looked at the world through a unique and loving lens filled with generosity and kindness.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
