HELLO QUIET WEEK AHEAD | A slow week designed that way to recover from surgery, which is postponed until January. I think I’ll enjoy the quiet anyway.
HELLO NEW RELEASE | Elise Blaha Cripe, the brilliant creator of the Get to Work Book and the gridded journals that litter my house has come out with a book! I’m beyond excited to read Big Dreams, Daily Joys.
HELLO DOGGIE SPECIALIST | Because of his allergies, Tucker has painful ear issues. He’s on a new medication regimen, which has given him little relief over the past couple of months — poor thing. We’re going back to the specialist in Guelph to have another look at what we can do to help him.
HELLO GRATITUDE | I have started my annual 31 Days of Thankful project, which is a creation of the talented Cathy Zielske. It is one of the projects I enjoy most. Without gratitude, we have nothing, and I have so much for which to be thankful. This is a beautiful project to get clear on all the good in my life.
HELLO BOOK CHALLENGE | Last Friday I went to see Ann Patchett at the Oakville Centre. So inspiring! She is a gifted storyteller who used stories as the framework for her talk. The list is eclectic and interesting. I ordered all of the books I don’t already own (more than half) from my local independent bookseller (as she requested we do – she owns her independent bookstore in Nashville). What better challenge/inspiration than to read the books lauded by a gifted author? I’m excited to get started.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
