HELLO LABOUR DAY | Even though the last day of summer is technically not for a few weeks, today feels like the end. The weather is cooler and you can feel hints of autumn in the air. It’s lovely to have the humidity gone and sleep with the windows open.
HELLO QUARANTINE | Chloé has landed back in Edinburgh (5,372 kilometres away from home) and is settling in a new solo flat – no more sharing, but that also means she has to quarantine by herself. The UK has changed things up and she can test after 5-days, though, I’m sure she’ll do the full 14-days just to err on the side of caution. Luckily for her, a girlfriend has made sure all necessities are ready and waiting.
HELLO SESSION | I am so grateful for Jenn who is gently helping me navigate this new chapter of my life.
HELLO CANOE TRIP | Cole is off to Algonquin Park again, this time with a friend and a canoe. I’m so happy he’s rediscovered his love for the outdoors. I’m even happier the GPS works!
HELLO FAMILY | My family grew with Bill. I’m delighted his sister and family are coming over for a physically distanced/socially engaged backyard BBQ. It’ll be so nice to see them. It’s been too long.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite: I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
