HELLO ADJUSTMENT | Changing the time is such an antiquated idea. As someone who loathes driving in the dark I wish we could just leave the time alone.
HELLO US ELECTIONS | I have been doing my best to ignore – or at least not be negatively affected by – the news, but having a behemoth country to our south it is hard to avoid their happenings especially when it so directly impacts us all. The only win I can see from my vantage point will be if they are able to increase the number of people who get out and vote. I don’t think I’ve prayed this much in a decade or more!
HELLO READING WEEK | My boys are off to visit Chloé in Edinburgh – and maybe do a bit of exploring, too.
HELLO SUNSHINE | I’m looking forward to hearing Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach and Nicole Byer make their presentations at the Sony Centre in Toronto. I have all of Glennon’s books, I’m looking forward to seeing how that translates in person.
HELLO NOVEL FIX | As a result of my weekend away at my writing retreat (and learning a ton) it is time to focus on my end. Not the beginning. Once I’ve nailed the end I can write my start.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite day of the week. I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
