HELLO CANDIDA CLEANSE | I am an ‘eat to live’ person. This cleanse has me thinking about food 24/7 and it’s exhausting. I’m on Day 4 and can only hope for the next 24 days to pass as quickly as possible!
HELLO HEADACHE | A side-effect of dropping all of my bad habits. For me that’s coffee and wine.
HELLO ADVOCACY | If the only lesson is that I will protect my kid I’m fine with the fall out. So is he.
HELLO FULL MOON | Happening on March 5 the full moon moves into Virgo. As the temperature begins to warm (we can only hope!) and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.
HELLO ANNUAL PHYSICAL | Well, more like my every-five-year check-in with the doctor on my forms, though there’s lots of stuff done every year. I seem to be an unending project of issues to fix! Time for an endocrinologist.
HELLO PACKING | Hiking gear. Scuba gear. Neither are conducive to strict airline luggage restrictions.
HELLO TATTOO | Against his mama’s wishes and asserting that he is “an adult”. Cole’s been talking about it since he was about 14 so now the time has come. (It is an awen symbol, so well considered and kinda neat.)
HELLO PROJECTS | Every time Cathy Zielske introduces new templates my brain explodes with possibility. These new templates are no exception. Simple. Beautiful.
HELLO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS | The reason for changing clocks forward and back is lost on me, but I am always happy to have longer evenings.
HELLO MONDAY | You are my favourite day of the week. I love that you provide me with 52 fresh starts every year.
What are you saying hello to on this brand new Monday?
