DRINKING | A big celebratory glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
EATING | Whatever I want – the Candida Cleanse is (finally) over. Earlier tonight, to celebrate Chloé’s return, we ate at the Oakville Club while the boys were at the Raptors game. So happy to be able to not cook!
EMBRACING | The space in time between March Break and the end of the school year. It is so transformational and goes by too fast!
ENJOYING | My home even more now that all of our things are in place. It makes for much peace and I can feel the flow of good and positive energy.
COOKING | As much as I can manage! Many favourites are being revisited. I’m reminding myself of how good the little ingredients are: dijon mustard, capers, parmesan cheese, sour cream, flour & breadcrumbs.
TRYING | To exercise patience. It’s very challenging.
MISSING | Kundalini yoga and meditation at iGita. I hope the damage from their recent flood gets cleared up soon so I can return to this practice.
FEELING | Content. Happy to simply be.
LISTENING | To the rain pouring down all afternoon. I had the door open, it was a bit cold but worth it. It is such a lovely change. Proof the season is changing.
WATCHING | Playoff hockey. THIS is the best season of all! And, since the Maple Leafs never make it into the playoffs, we in the local viewing area are treated with a much better level of competition.
READING | Nightbird by Alice Hoffman just arrived in the mail. My copy is quite odd: the cover is upside down – or maybe it’s the pages that are. Nonetheless, I love that it is different. Fitting.
WEARING | Some new “athletic” wear. Now to put it to use!
PLANNING | For my Desire Map workshop this weekend. I’m very exited to get this going 🙂
WANTING | A male companion. Someone with whom to discuss sports, politics, beliefs and life. Someone with whom to go on adventures and ball games, to the movies and dinner. Someone with whom to sit with quietly and not feel the need to fill the silence.
NEEDING | To organize – and execute – fresh and new blog content. Who knows, maybe I can tackle some tough and controversial topics? Need to go deeper.
WISHING | Everyone took the time to discover their Core Desired Feelings. The whole world looks different when you’ve done the work and know what resonates within you. I love living a life in alignment with how I want to feel, every day.
WAITING | For the proofs from my photo session. I’m looking forward to a bit of a refresh. Who knows? I may make this an annual event! Cherie-Lynn made it so easy.
THINKING | About all the projects I have swirling in my head. I have to stop thinking and do: beginning and finishing. A list is a must!
ENJOYING | The making of plans our Miramichi trip this summer. There will be lots of research and visiting as many friends and family as we can manage. In my head, I refer to it as “The Search for Annie O’Donnell”.
ENCOURAGING | Myself to lean in and do challenging things. There are some big things and there are some small things, with both I need to simply trust and embrace. On the other side of fear is bliss.
CELEBRATING | The end of March Break and the return of routine. At least until next weekend when they have four days off for Easter!
CULTIVATING | The life I want.
MARVELING | At the fact that I did not lose one pound – not ONE pound during my 28-days of “no”. There is something seriously wrong here!
ANTICIPATING | Lacrosse season. Caden has signed up and I’m looking forward to watching him play. He hasn’t since he was 8 or 9 and I think he’s going to enjoy it.
DATELINE: Oakville, Ontario, CANADA @ 8:32PM on 25 March 2015
