BRAVERY 52 | List 06
LIST 06 | List the things you visualize having, doing, and being in your dream life.
Now that I've released my chokehold on goals, I have a pretty active dream life. Here are my long- and short-term dreams:
FITNESS | for fun enjoy snowshoeing, golf, tennis, cross country skiing, reformer Pilates, hiking, skipping rope, trampoline, kayaking, and walk the dogs to and from the mailbox (750m away from the new house) every morning. (And when it's not fun, switch up the activity and do something else.)
HOME | foster good relationships with my kids and my mutts; enjoy regular gatherings with family and friends and friends who have become family; make and eat fresh foods; move into and renovate Watch Hill (and change the name); plant new gardens and add a labyrinth, fire pit, and hot tub; solidify friendships and make new ones; welcome a romantic relationship - certainly enjoy sex again (not putting that genie back in the bottle); add garden twinkle lights; enjoy the sunsets over Lake Huron, and use my new telescope to spot and wish on shooting stars.
LIFESTYLE | open the Maple Art Studio on High Street; create women's circles, retreats and fire dances while we celebrate the new and full moon cycle; help restore the lighthouse; embrace my inner artist; and, read as many new-to-me books as possible.
MAKE | and send cards with handwritten notes (connection is especially important during the pandemic); intention-infused gemstone beaded bracelets; coffee table books of my most favourite photos taken over the years; a photo-rich recipe book for all of the kids with their favourite meals; a comfortable home to welcome family and friends; metal art with words/stamped letters; a plan to create accessories for women of size: glasses, belts, shoes, scarves, etc.
REST | in meditation every day; by taking forest baths as often as possible; stroll with no destination, unconscious of time, along the beach no matter the weather; ignore the clock and sleep when tired and wake when rested; and, allow for lazy hazy days of daydreaming.
PROJECT | honour Bill's wish for his ashes to be scattered into the Bellisle Bay and then have the memorial bench installed and dedicated
TRAVEL + ENTERTAINMENT | Take the Belmond Royal Scotsman through Scotland and attend Chloé's graduation; with someone special, go back to Charleston, South Carolina; see Bruce Springsteen in concert again and bring the kids (his and mine) who want to come, as I promised Bill; take myself to Fogo Island for a personal writing retreat; bring my camera to Antelope Canyon, Arizona on my way to or from a lengthy stay at Canyon Ranch in Tucson; go back to the Turks & Caicos for a visit; see Keane in concert wherever they may be playing; plan to see P!nk again, maybe a girls night or weekend?
WOO | Continue my studies of metaphysics: astrology, oracle cards, numerology, energy + physics, crystals, animal totems, phases of the moon; collect geodes and wishing stones; honour and celebrate the sabbats. Stay open to what I need to learn in this lifetime.
WRITE | and submit the novel, the short stories, the screenplay, the articles, the posts.
In fact, for my Mastermind course, I made a Mind Movie which includes all of the dreams I have for living a full and fulfilled life. It's too large to upload but it includes everything written above. (And it's set to "In My Blood" from the Bridgerton soundtrack. So good!)None of my wishes are terribly specific, just a loose target. I'm doing my absolute best to release any attachment to form. My dreams will manifest in the best way possible for me and I don't want to limit myself to what I already know. My dreams may not arrive that way. I'm open to all possibilities.
