LIST 19 | List the ways you physically feel shame and/or guilt.
I feel everything in my gut. Nausea and vomit have proven to be my guides.
Though, there is no need for me to feel shame and/or guilt anymore. I have owned all of my mistakes – er, learning experiences. There are no secrets left. Just fodder for stories.
Those looking for me to feel guilt or shame are using them as tools to justify their own bad behaviour. I don’t respect them enough to comply.
I plan to fully embrace my mother’s constant accusation of my being shameless. Yes! I am. Life is way more fun (and honest and authentic and joy-filled) this way.
