LIST 09 | List the ways you currently try to manage your stress.
I suffer stress when there is no order. For me, the easiest way to manage stress is to write a list to get a handle on what is spinning and causing the stress in the first place.
Other things I do:
Take the dogs for a walk
Turn up the music and sing along or dance in the kitchen
Journal, journal, journal
Cook copious amounts of comfort food
Take a photo walk and capture the sites – big and small
Catch up on laundry
Finish household projects
Organize the inside of cupboards or drawers
I have to be active/productive in some way to deal with stress. I couldn’t nap, colour, draw or meditate without a guided recording. There has to be some kind of purpose, a goal.
