WEEK 12: The art of making Desire Mapping a sustainable practice is doing small, easy things on a daily basis to generate your Core Desired Feelings. So this week, let’s focus on the micro. What are three, small, easy-peasy things you can do this week to make you feel your Core Desired Feelings? Like…
ALLOW … me to listen to what my body needs starting with the basics: food, drink, sleep, movement. I have been more tired than usual lately, maybe I’ll “give in” and allow myself an afternoon nap. After all, what good is it for anyone to power through?
CONNECT … with the point of view I want to use in my novel-in-progress. It shouldn’t be this complicated but I’m struggling with applying it consistently. I need to find a way to connect with it with more ease.
EXPAND … I am always learning in an effort to expand my understanding of things. This week I plan to learn more about Instagram by having a session with my friend and social media guru, Kenda Blum. This should help with connect, too.
GRACE … daily meditation has greatly added to my feelings of personal and global grace. Some days I want to skip it, but then I remember how calm and positive it makes me feel. I struggle to add a second session each day – I’ll try to do that this week, I’ve put an alarm in my phone to remind myself to do this.
TRUST … that the many macro and micro decisions I’ve made lately will take root and work toward the best possible outcome for me and my family. I trust that it will continue to be the small tweaks that turn out to be the most profound.
Gentle, almost micro-exercises that you do on a consistent basis will lead to a greater sense of you feeling the way you want to feel. Instead of three, small, easy-peasy things, I thought I’d try to incorporate one thing per CDF.
POSITIVE DECLARATION OF THE WEEK: All the wishes I’ve been planting for years are taking root.
